Partnerships

Vibrant County Journal considers collaborations that fit its focus on county geography, place names and the landscapes between settlements. Clear labelling and editorial independence are conditions, not optional extras.

Suitable collaborations

We may consider clearly defined educational, cultural or place-focused collaborations, including commissioned explainers and relevant partner placements. A proposal should state the subject, intended readers, format, proposed placement and who is funding or supporting it. We do not accept work that asks us to disguise promotion as independent reporting.

Placement and labels

Partner links or placements may appear across the site when they are relevant and clearly identified as partner material. Paid articles and other paid placements are labelled in plain language. Readers should not have to guess whether a placement is commercial, and a label does not mean the publication endorses every claim made in partner content.

Editorial boundaries

Partners do not choose our editorial conclusions, remove criticism or purchase favourable coverage. We may decline proposals that do not suit the publication or cannot be labelled clearly. To start a conversation, send the proposal through the Contact page with the partnership option selected.
